Piping Works Services Pty Ltd, trading as Pipework Services, was founded in 2013 by the owner, Malcolm ( Tony ) Halliday. Tony had been operating as a sole trader in Australia and as a Limited Incorporated company, M A Halliday Consulting, internationally. The need for a formal structure arouse as a result of expanding work in Australasia.
Piping Work Services, is now a leading boutique Process Piping Design and Installation contracting company, that provides specialised services to the petro-chemical, mining, defence and water industries world wide.
Pipework Services has successfully completed a range of projects throughout the world and maintains a permanent presence in the Australia, Vietnam, South Africa and USA, servicing long term customers in the Minerals Processing and Oil & Gas Industry.
The company has a strong focus on working safely, maintaining ongoing training in safe work practices and a proactive approach to environmental and risk management with contracts completed in the United States of America, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Australia.
The company operates its own dedicated Engineering and Piping Design support offices, which support the construction installation and commissioning teams of EPCM and small project developers needing specialized high end piping design needs, process optimization and troubleshooting.
This enables the company to offer complete project management from scoping, design, construction through to commissioning, with the continuity that is often lost in bigger engineering contractors.
The company Quality Management System is structured to complying with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
The Quality Management System for the design management, manufacture and repair of pressure piping systems and process equipment, the manufacture of dedicated systems, installation of piping systems & dam liners and repair of pipe work including Poly lining of dams and HDPE piping; Process Flow Optimization and the maintenance of plant and equipment.
